The Horse Statistics Mod lets you inspect a horse's attributes before you commit to taming it. This is essential for selective breeding or finding the strongest mount.

Steps

1. Approach an untamed horse

2. Hold Shift (crouch)

3. Right-click on the horse

4. A display will appear showing the horse's health, jump height, speed, and carrying capacity

Comparing Multiple Horses

To choose between several horses, repeat this process on each one. Write down or memorize the stats, then compare them side-by-side. Look for high values in the attributes that matter most to you—speed for travel, jump height for terrain, or health for combat situations.

This method works on both horses and llamas. If you have the Realistic Horse Genetics mod installed, you'll see even more detailed genetic information to help predict offspring traits.
