Activate the Horrific Steve Totem in Survival Mode

When the Totem Triggers

The Horrific Steve Totem of Undying functions identically to the vanilla Totem of Undying. It activates automatically when you would take fatal damage—whether from fall damage, drowning, fire, mobs, or any other lethal source. The moment your health would drop to zero, the totem consumes itself and saves your life.

What Happens When Activated

When triggered, the creepy Steve totem will:

• Restore your health to a safe level
• Remove most negative status effects
• Grant you temporary fire resistance and absorption effects
• Play the totem activation sound and particle effects
• Disappear from your inventory (consumed as a one-time use item)

Holding It Ready

To maximize your chances of survival, keep the Horrific Steve Totem in your off-hand (left hand) while exploring dangerous areas. This ensures it's always active and ready to save you, even if your main hand is occupied with a weapon or tool. You can swap it into your off-hand using your inventory screen or by pressing the designated off-hand swap key.
