How Poison Damage Works

When hornets attack, they inflict poison damage. The severity of this poison effect is directly tied to your current game difficulty setting. On easier difficulties, poison is a minor threat; on harder difficulties, it becomes increasingly dangerous and can quickly drain your health.

Difficulty Scaling

The mod scales hornet poison damage across all difficulty levels:

• Peaceful/Easy: Minimal poison effect
• Normal: Moderate poison damage
• Hard: Severe poison that depletes health rapidly

If you're struggling with hornet encounters, lowering your difficulty will reduce poison potency.

Managing Poison Effects

• Carry milk buckets at all times when exploring
• Drink milk immediately after being stung to cleanse the poison
• Avoid multiple hornet stings in quick succession
• Use armor and healing items to offset damage
