Collect Darkosto's Birthday Cake Drops

Understanding the Cake Drop Mechanic

When hornets die, they have a chance to drop Darkosto's Birthday cake—a special Easter egg item added by the mod. This is a rare drop, so you won't receive cake from every hornet you defeat.

How to Obtain Cake

• Kill hornets in combat (requires strong gear and careful positioning)
• Each defeated hornet has a chance to drop the cake; persistence is required
• The drop rate is intentionally low, making cake a novelty collectible rather than a farming resource

Configuration Options

The mod includes a configurable setting to disable cake drops entirely if you prefer. Check your mod configuration files if you want to turn off this Easter egg feature.

Combat Considerations

Hornets are dangerous opponents due to their poison damage. Only attempt to farm cake if you have:

• Strong armor and weapons
• Healing supplies (food, potions, milk)
• A safe arena away from additional hornet swarms

The cake is primarily a fun collectible rather than a practical resource, so don't risk your survival for it.
