Deep ocean trenches generated by this mod appear in ocean biomes across your world. Travel across large bodies of water and look for sudden drops in the seafloor. The water will darken noticeably as you approach a trench entrance. Use a boat or swim to explore safely.

Preparing for Depth Exploration

Bring a full set of enchanted armor with Respiration and Aqua Affinity to extend your underwater breathing time. Pack plenty of healing items, as deep trenches often contain hostile mobs in darker areas. Bring a pickaxe to harvest coral and other blocks you find.

Navigation Tips

Trenches extend down to Y level -56, so bring a way to track your depth—either by checking coordinates or using visual landmarks. Place torches or other light sources as you descend to mark your path back. The deeper sections are darker and more dangerous, so proceed cautiously. Consider using a conduit for extended underwater breathing and mining speed if you plan to stay deep for long periods.
