Understand What the Hollow Display Shows

Item Display Accuracy

The hollow interior displays exactly what's in your container slots. Raw food, ores, and other input items appear inside the 3D model. When items finish cooking and move to the output slot, they disappear from the interior display. This sync is automatic and requires no configuration.

Fuel and Flame Visualization

Burning fuel is shown as flames inside the hollow block. As fuel burns down, the flame animation reflects the remaining burn time. When fuel runs out, flames stop until you add more fuel to the workstation.

No Gameplay Changes

The visual display is purely cosmetic. Smelting speeds, recipes, and all mechanical behavior remain identical to vanilla furnaces, smokers, and blast furnaces. The mod only changes how these blocks look from the outside—the interior hollow design and item visibility don't affect cooking times or efficiency.
