What Hold My Items Mod Does

Hold My Items Mod is a visual and animation mod that makes item handling look more natural. Rather than items floating beside or in front of the player, the mod renders the player's hand actually gripping the equipped object, so tools and weapons appear properly held.

Animations and Physics

Beyond hand rendering, the mod adds new animations for common actions, including eating, drinking, swimming, climbing, and the swinging or use motions of swords, axes, pickaxes, and shovels. It also introduces physics for several objects and entities: lanterns, slime, honey, and hanging signs react with added movement, while smaller items such as saplings, leaves, flowers, slimeballs, feathers, and pufferfish receive their own physics behavior.

Using the Mod

There is nothing to configure or craft. Install it and the hand-holding visuals, action animations, and object physics apply automatically during normal play. It is purely a presentation mod, so it does not change gameplay balance, recipes, or item stats.
