Find Hidden Switches in Dark Corners and Shadows

Hidden switches in dark rooms are deliberately obscured by shadow. Bring torches or use your hand to place temporary light sources around suspicious areas. Shadows often hide switches mounted on walls or tucked into alcoves. Systematically light up each corner of the room—switches become visible once properly illuminated.

Systematic Search Pattern

Start from one corner and work methodically across the room rather than randomly exploring. Check:

• Wall crevices – Look for indentations or recessed areas where a switch might sit flush with the surface
• Behind tall blocks – Switches hide behind pillars, columns, or stacked blocks
• Ceiling edges – Scan where walls meet the ceiling for mounted switches
• Floor corners – Some switches sit at ground level where players naturally overlook them

Once you spot a switch (usually a small protruding block or lever), right-click it to activate the door mechanism. If nothing happens, you've found a decoy—keep searching. Mark found switches mentally so you don't waste time rechecking the same spots.
