Search the highest points of mountains and ridges where the air is thin. This creature is extremely rare, so expect to search multiple mountains and return several times.

Preparation for Battle

Roaring Moon is a powerful creature, so bring your strongest team. Stock Ultra Balls, Master Balls if available, and healing items. Bring Pokémon with moves that can weaken it safely—status moves like Thunder Wave or Will-O-Wisp are useful. Avoid one-shot moves; you need to lower its HP gradually to increase catch rates.
