Hunt Ghost-Type Pokémon in the Deep Dark
The Deep Dark biome harbors rare ghost-type creatures. This underground realm requires careful navigation and preparation.
Navigating the Deep Dark
Dig or cave down to Y-level 0 or below to reach the Deep Dark biome. Look for the distinctive dark stone and sculk blocks that mark this area. Bring torches or other light sources—the Deep Dark is pitch-black, making it hard to spot Pokémon without visibility. Watch your step around sculk sensors, which can trigger unwanted effects.
Finding Galarian Yamask and Runerigus
These creatures spawn near stone bricks and ancient ruins scattered throughout the Deep Dark. Search around structures and stone brick formations carefully. Galarian Yamask appears as a ghost-like form; Runerigus is its evolved counterpart. Both are relatively rare, so thorough exploration is necessary.
Finding Shuppet and Banette
Shuppet and Banette also inhabit the Deep Dark but can surface at night. If underground hunting is slow, try searching forests and open areas after dark. Bring Poké Balls suited for ghost types and consider using moves that are effective against them. Bring plenty of supplies since the Deep Dark is far from safety.
