Catch Snom and Evolve It into Frosmoth

Snom is a cold-weather creature that evolves into Frosmoth under specific conditions.

Finding Snom at Night

Travel to freezing biomes such as Snowy Slopes, Snowy Taiga, or Frozen Peaks. Search these icy areas thoroughly—Snom is relatively uncommon but not ultra-rare. Bring cold-resistant gear or healing items in case you take freeze damage from the environment.

Catching and Training

Use standard Poké Balls or better to catch Snom. It's a small, delicate creature, so avoid using powerful attacks—weaken it gradually with status moves or low-damage attacks. Once caught, train Snom by battling other Pokémon to gain experience.

Evolving into Frosmoth

Snom evolves into Frosmoth through a specific method—check your Pokédex or use an evolution stone appropriate to ice-type Pokémon. Frosmoth will inherit Snom's stats and gain new moves and abilities. Frosmoth may spawn naturally in the same cold biomes at night, but catching Snom and evolving it is often more reliable than hunting for the evolved form directly.
