HeroBot Mod: Spawning and Controlling Bots

Getting Started with Bots

HeroBot Mod lets you spawn fake players that behave like real ones. Bots have working auto-jump and proper weapon attacks, so they can fight back instead of standing still. You can spawn them anywhere in the world and pick their game mode or dimension, which makes them useful for setting up custom battles or testing multiplayer features on your own.

Once a bot exists, commands let you direct it. You can tell a bot how to move, when to attack, and how to use items, so you can script out scenarios without needing other players online. Because bots act like normal players, they fit into survival and creative situations alike.

The mod also adds extra server settings. One removes random spread from arrows and other thrown items so they fly perfectly straight. Others change creative mode: flying players can pass through solid blocks, and you can speed up or slow down creative flight. Together these options give you fine control over how your bot battles play out.
