Using Hephaestus with Fabric Mods

Compatibility Scope

Hephaestus is designed to work with tools from Fabric mods in addition to vanilla Minecraft tools. Not every mod's tools are retextured, but popular Fabric mod tools are supported.

How to Identify Supported Mod Tools

When you craft or obtain a tool from a Fabric mod:

1. Check your inventory

2. Look at the tool's appearance

3. If it matches the Hephaestus style (refined, blade-like heads with clear handguards on swords), it's supported

Tools Without Retextures

Some mod tools may not receive custom textures from Hephaestus and will retain their original appearance. This is normal—the pack only covers tools it was designed for.

Verification

Compare a vanilla pickaxe with a mod pickaxe in your inventory. If both have the refined Hephaestus look, the mod tool is supported. If a mod tool looks different, that mod's tools aren't included in this pack's scope.
