Customizing Your Tool Appearance Experience

Resource Pack Layering

Hephaestus is a resource pack, so you can layer it with other packs. If you want additional customization:

1. Install Hephaestus as your primary tool texture pack

2. Add other resource packs above or below it in your pack list

3. Adjust pack order in your resource pack menu to control which textures take priority

Combining with Other Packs

You can use Hephaestus alongside packs that modify other elements (blocks, mobs, UI) without conflict. Only place another tool-focused pack above Hephaestus if you prefer its tool designs instead.

Reverting to Vanilla

If you want to see vanilla tool textures again, simply disable Hephaestus in your resource pack menu. Your world and items remain unchanged—only the visual appearance switches.

Testing Changes

After adjusting your pack order, reload your world or return to the main menu and re-enter to see texture updates applied.
