Enable Flight Mode Without Creative Mode

Using the /fly Command

The /fly command lets you toggle flight on and off without switching to Creative Mode, making it perfect for exploring or building in Survival mode.

How to Enable Flight

1. Open your chat window (press T by default)

2. Type /fly and press Enter

3. You'll now be able to fly — double-tap space to ascend, hold space to rise continuously, and sneak (Shift) to descend

4. Type /fly again to disable flight and return to normal movement

Tips for Flying

Flight mode works similarly to Creative Mode flight, so your muscle memory will transfer directly. You can fly through blocks and over terrain without restrictions. This is especially useful when you need to scout locations, position yourself for building, or quickly traverse your world without the commitment of switching game modes.

If you need to return to the ground quickly, simply press Shift to descend or type /fly to disable the mode entirely. The command works in both single-player and multiplayer servers (if the server has the mod installed and permissions configured).
