Adjust Heart Display Position for Your Character Model

Finding the Right Height

The default heart position works well for Steve, but custom character models or skins with different proportions may need adjustment. Hearts that float too low can overlap with your character's head, while hearts positioned too high become hard to see during intense combat.

How to Reposition

1. Enable the health display using your configured keybind

2. Press the Up Arrow key to move hearts higher above your character's head

3. Press the Down Arrow key to move hearts lower

4. Make small adjustments until the hearts sit clearly above your head without obstruction

5. Your new position saves automatically for future sessions

Resetting to Default

If you've moved the hearts too far or want to start over, use the quick reset button in your controls menu to return hearts to their original position instantly. This is useful if you switch between different mods or resource packs that change character appearance.
