Understanding XP-to-Health Conversion

Health Levels Mod converts your experience points into permanent extra hearts. Unlike vanilla Minecraft, where XP is spent on enchanting, this mod lets you bank XP as health progression.

How to Gain Your First Heart

1. Gather experience by mining, defeating mobs, smelting items, or fishing—any activity that normally gives XP in Minecraft.

2. Watch your XP bar as it fills. The mod tracks cumulative XP separately from your enchanting level.

3. Reach the first threshold. Once you've collected enough XP (determined by mod settings), you'll automatically gain an extra heart container.

4. Check your health display. Your maximum health will increase visibly in your HUD or inventory screen.

5. Continue grinding to unlock more hearts at subsequent XP milestones.

Tips

• Different activities grant XP at different rates—mob farming is typically fastest.
• Your progress is permanent; XP spent on health won't reset unless the mod is configured to reset health on death.
• Early hearts come quickly; later thresholds require significantly more XP.
