How to Get the Health Enchantment

Finding Health Enchantment

The Health enchantment can be obtained through three main methods:

Enchanting Table

Place your armor piece in an enchanting table with lapis lazuli. The Health enchantment will appear randomly among available options. You may need to enchant multiple pieces or use different lapis amounts to see it. Higher enchanting levels increase the chance of rare enchantments appearing.

Loot and Structures

Search naturally-generated loot chests throughout your world. Dungeons, temples, strongholds, and other structures have a chance to contain armor already enchanted with Health. This is useful for getting higher levels without spending resources.

Villager Trading

Find a librarian villager and trade with them. They may offer enchanted books with the Health enchantment. You can refresh their trades by breaking and replacing their workstation until they offer what you need. Once you have an enchanted book, combine it with your armor using an anvil.

Applying to Armor

Once obtained as a book, use an anvil to apply the enchantment to any armor piece—helmet, chestplate, leggings, or boots.
