Troubleshoot healing beds not working

Check basic requirements

1. Verify the bed is placed correctly and not obstructed

2. Ensure you're actually lying down (right-click to use)

3. Confirm the mod is installed and enabled in your mod loader

4. Check that you're not in Creative mode (healing may be disabled)

Configuration issues

• Review your mod config file for disabled healing settings
• Some configurations require food in your inventory—check if you have adequate food
• Verify that healing is enabled for your current dimension
• Look for any "healing disabled" or "healing rate: 0" settings

Server-specific problems

If playing on a multiplayer server, ask the admin if healing beds are disabled or configured differently. Server-side configs override client settings.

Reinstalling

If nothing works, try removing the mod's config file and letting it regenerate with default settings. This resets all customizations but often fixes configuration errors. Restart your game after making any changes.
