Enable the Hat Layer in Your Player List

What This Does

Hat List Mod automatically displays the hat layer from player skins in the tab player list (the screen you see when pressing Tab). By default, Minecraft hides this cosmetic layer, showing only the base skin. This mod ensures hats, headwear, and other hat-layer details are always visible.

How It Works

Once installed, the mod activates automatically—no configuration needed. When you open the player list during gameplay, you'll see all connected players with their hat layers rendered, just as they appear in the game world.

What You'll See

Any hat-layer cosmetics from player skins now display in the tab list:

  • Custom hats or headwear from skin designs
  • Decorative head accessories
  • Any cosmetic elements placed on the hat layer

This is purely visual and doesn't affect gameplay, inventory, or game mechanics. The change applies to all players on your server or world, making the player list more visually representative of how players actually look in-game.
