To get the most cinematic experience, ensure all Handycam effects are enabled in your configuration. This includes walking sway, damage reactions, jump impacts, bow recoil, idle breathing, eating animations, and explosion shake.

Maximize Intensity Settings

Increase intensity values for camera effects to their higher ranges. This creates more noticeable motion that mimics holding a real camera, making exploration and combat feel more dynamic and engaging.

Combine with Other Mods

Handycam works well alongside visual enhancement mods. Pair it with shader mods for enhanced lighting, or animation mods that add character movement detail. The camera effects complement these additions without conflict.

Handycam shines during exploration, cave diving, and survival gameplay where you're experiencing the world naturally. The gentle sway while walking and breathing motion while idle create an immersive, lived-in feeling. Explosions and combat reactions add cinematic tension to dangerous encounters. Disable effects only if they interfere with specific tasks like precise building or competitive PvP.
