Disable Camera Shake for Specific Actions

Access the Configuration

Handycam Mod provides granular control over which actions trigger camera effects. Open your mod configuration menu (usually accessible through the main settings or a dedicated mods menu) and locate the Handycam settings.

Toggle Individual Effects

You'll find separate toggles for different camera movements:

• Walking and sprinting sway — disable if you find gentle movement distracting
• Damage shake — turn off to keep your view steady when taking hits
• Jump and landing impact — useful to disable if you're sensitive to screen movement
• Bow recoil — toggle to remove arrow-firing camera kick
• Breathing and idle motion — disable for a completely static view when standing still
• Eating and crouching — turn off if these subtle movements feel jarring
• Explosion reactions — disable for less intense camera shake from nearby blasts

Apply and Test

Save your configuration changes. The mod will apply settings immediately without requiring a restart. Test each action in-game to confirm your preferred setup. You can adjust these settings at any time without affecting other players on multiplayer servers.
