Set Up Your First Gun in Survival Mode

Gather Materials and Build the Gun Smithing Table

Before you can craft weapons, you need to locate the Gun Smithing Table recipe. Check your crafting menu or the HMG Field Manual (if Guide-API is installed) for the exact ingredients. Once you have the materials, place the Gun Smithing Table in your base—this is your central crafting station for all firearm components.

Mine New Materials

Explore your world to find copper, aluminum, steel, and polymer ore. These materials don't spawn in vanilla Minecraft, so look for new ore blocks added by the mod. Mine them with appropriate tools and smelt or process them as needed.

Craft Your First Weapon

Open the Gun Smithing Table and browse available weapon recipes. Start with a simpler firearm rather than complex weapons. Gather the required parts and materials, then craft your weapon. You'll receive a functional gun that you can immediately equip and use.

Load Ammunition

Craft ammunition matching your weapon type at the Gun Smithing Table. Insert rounds into your gun's magazine, then reload in-game by using the reload action. You're now ready to fire.
