Set Up Multiplayer Gun Combat on a Server

Understand Multiplayer Synchronization

The mod syncs weapon actions across all players on a server, meaning everyone sees the same firing animations, reloads, and weapon states. This ensures fair combat and prevents desync issues where players see different things.

Distribute Gun Packs to Players

The mod uses external content packs to add weapons. Ensure all players have the same gun packs installed and enabled. Mismatched packs can cause weapons to behave differently or fail to load. Coordinate with your server admin or other players before starting.

Establish Gun Access Rules

Decide whether players craft weapons in survival mode or spawn them in creative mode. For balanced PvP, consider restricting access to the Gun Smithing Table or limiting ammunition production. You can also create designated weapon storage areas.

Test Weapon Balance

Before large battles, test different weapons in small skirmishes. Some guns may be overpowered or underpowered compared to others. Adjust crafting recipes or ammunition availability if needed to maintain fair gameplay for all players.
