Guns Plus Plus Mod: Core Mechanics and Controls

Firing, Reloading, and Aiming

Guns Plus Plus adds over 40 craftable firearms spanning pistols, SMGs, rifles, shotguns, snipers, machine guns, rocket launchers, and energy weapons. Each weapon has its own 3D model and firing sound.

Reloading is done by holding Shift and right-clicking. Ammo comes in several types, including bullets, shells, rockets, and energy cells, so match the correct ammo to your gun. For testing or casual play, the command /tag @s add inf_reload grants infinite ammo.

To aim down sights, press F (the offhand key). Scoped aiming improves accuracy, which matters because the mod simulates several recoil styles: bloom (random spread), camera-shake recoil, and predictable spray patterns. Weapons also support attachments such as suppressors and laser sights, applied by throwing the attachment on the ground with a weapon.

The variety of guns and recoil models makes the mod suited to both survival and multiplayer combat, where different weapons fill different roles.
