Improve Readability of Text in Dark UI Menus

Identifying Readability Issues

GUI NightStylized's dark theme can sometimes make text hard to read, especially in bright environments or on certain monitors. Common problem areas include button labels, tooltip text, and inventory slot descriptions.

Adjusting Contrast

Open the pack's texture files and look for text-related assets. You can brighten text by editing the color values in image files or JSON configuration files. Increase the brightness of text layers without changing the background darkness.

Using Game Settings

In Minecraft's Options menu, adjust Brightness and Contrast settings to compensate. A slightly higher brightness setting can make dark UI text pop without requiring pack edits.

Monitor and Accessibility

If you play in low-light conditions, the dark UI is ideal. For daytime play or bright rooms, consider enabling your monitor's blue-light filter or increasing overall game brightness slightly. Test readability in different lighting conditions before making permanent pack changes.
