How to Read the Clock GUI and Tell Day vs Night
What the GUI Shows
When you hold a Clock and look at it, the mod replaces the vanilla spinning dial with a clear readout of the current world time. Instead of guessing from the sun's position, you get a numeric time in 24-hour format. Times before noon are shown as morning hours, and times after noon are shown as afternoon/evening hours, so you always know whether it is AM or PM at a glance.
Using It to Plan Your Day
1. Craft or obtain a Clock as usual.
2. Hold it in your hand (main hand or offhand both work).
3. Read the displayed time directly from the GUI overlay.
4. Use it to decide whether to head back to base before nightfall, or whether it is safe to keep mining.
Because the readout is numeric, you no longer need to interpret the angle of the sun or the color of the sky. If the number is in the morning range, you have a full day ahead. If it is in the evening range, mobs will start spawning soon, so plan accordingly. This is especially useful underground or in the Nether-style dimensions where the sky is not visible, letting you track the overworld time without surfacing.
