How to Configure the GUI Clock Mod's Display Options

Finding the Config

The GUI Clock Mod stores its settings in a configuration file within your Minecraft instance. You can typically reach it through the mod list screen in-game, or by editing the config file directly in your instance's config directory. Both routes change the same options.

Common Settings to Adjust

  • Time source: switch between in-game world time and your computer's real time zone.
  • Display format: the clock uses a 24-hour format with AM/PM indicators where appropriate; check whether your build exposes a toggle for how the readout is presented.
  • Visibility: some setups let you control when the overlay appears, such as only while the Clock is held.

Applying Changes

1. Open the config screen or file.

2. Change the option you want.

3. Save and, if editing the file directly, restart the game or reload so the change takes effect.

4. Hold your Clock and confirm the new behavior.

Tips

If a setting does not seem to apply, make sure you are holding the Clock when you check, since the GUI only appears in that context. Keep a backup of your config before editing it manually. If you play on a server, remember that client-side display settings affect only your own view and do not change the world for other players.
