Troubleshoot Missing or Low-Quality Particles
Check Post-Processing Pipeline
VIX handles particle rendering through its shader post-processing system. If particles appear missing or low-quality:
1. Open your mod configuration
2. Ensure the post-processing rendering pipeline is active
3. Verify shader support is enabled in your graphics settings
4. Check that your GPU drivers are up to date
Adjust Performance Settings
High-quality particles demand more GPU resources. If particles stutter or disappear:
- Lower your render distance temporarily to test
- Reduce other graphics settings (shadows, reflections) if available
- Ensure no conflicting mods are disabling post-processing
- Check that your system meets minimum GPU requirements
Particles should display prominently during action moments—if they're still invisible, the issue may be a mod conflict rather than VIX itself. Try disabling other visual mods one at a time to isolate the problem.
