How Greenlight Mod Works

Greenlight Mod is a library that lets servers control which client-side features players can use. Install it alongside compatible client mods. When you join a server with a resource pack, the mod reads permission rules from that pack and automatically enables only approved features.

Server owners can set numerical limits that client settings will respect. All permissions are temporary—they reset the moment you leave the world or disconnect. Local resource packs are ignored, ensuring only the official server pack determines what's allowed.

No server-side plugins are needed. Simply accept the server resource pack when prompted, and compatible mods will follow the server's rules automatically while you play normally.
