Enable Grassier Grass with Iris Shaders

Verify Shader Compatibility

Grassier Grass works with Iris shaders, including popular packs like Photon. Before enabling, ensure you have both Iris and your chosen shader pack installed and working.

Load Your Shader Pack

Open the Iris settings menu (usually accessible from video settings) and select your shader pack. Test that it renders correctly with vanilla grass first.

Activate Grassier Grass

Open Sodium settings and navigate to the Grassier Grass section. Enable the mod if it isn't already active. The grass wind effect will now layer on top of your shader's existing visuals.

Adjust for Visual Balance

Shader packs may interact differently with grass movement. If the effect looks too strong or clashes with your shader's aesthetic, return to Grassier Grass settings and reduce wave intensity or speed. Some shaders add their own lighting or color effects to grass, so test different intensity levels to find a balanced look.

Your shader's post-processing effects will still apply to the moving grass, creating a cohesive visual experience.
