Adjust Grass Wave Speed and Intensity

Access Grass Settings

Open your Sodium video settings menu while in-game. Look for the Grassier Grass section — this is where all wind and grass behavior controls live.

Configure Wave Parameters

You'll find sliders to control:

• Wave Speed: How fast the grass sways back and forth. Higher values make the grass move more rapidly, while lower values create a slower, more gentle breeze effect.
• Wave Intensity: How far each blade leans when wind passes through. Increase this to make grass movement more dramatic and visible, or decrease it for subtle, realistic motion.
• Wind Gust Frequency: How often rolling gusts sweep across your field. More frequent gusts create a busier, more dynamic landscape.

Apply and Test

Adjust each slider and watch the grass in real-time to see the effect. Settings save automatically. If the motion feels too intense or too subtle, return to these controls and fine-tune until the grass movement matches your preference.

These settings work across all grass blocks in your world and update instantly without requiring a restart.
