To turn a dirt block into a grass block, hold regular seeds and right-click the dirt. The block converts instantly, with no waiting or growth time involved. This works as a quick way to spread grass without relying on natural spreading from nearby grass blocks.

Seeds also work on grass blocks themselves. Right-clicking an existing grass block with seeds grows tall grass on top of it. This is handy for decorating builds or giving an area a more natural, overgrown look without hunting for tall grass elsewhere.

Both actions use the same simple right-click interaction, so no special tools or crafting steps are required. Just have seeds in hand and target the block you want to change.
