Using Clovers to Create Natural Landscaping

Planning Your Design

Clover patches add organic texture to terraformed landscapes. Because they spawn randomly on short grass, they create natural-looking ground variation without manual placement. Use this to your advantage when building gardens, meadows, or wilderness areas.

Building Techniques

Place short grass blocks across your terrain, then let the resource pack randomly generate clover variants. The mixed appearance looks far more natural than uniform grass. For intentional designs, combine clovers with path blocks, flowers, and varied grass heights.

In gardens, surround clover-covered grass with borders of different blocks—dirt paths, stone, or wood—to frame the natural area and make the clover detail stand out.

Biome-Specific Styling

Clovers work best in plains, meadows, and forest floors. In muddy or dark biomes like mangrove forests, the clover contrast is especially visible. Avoid placing them in snow or desert biomes where they won't appear naturally.
