Consistent Item Pickup for Grabby Mobs

In vanilla Minecraft, mobs that can hold items only pick them up occasionally, so whether a Zombie grabs a dropped sword is left to chance. The Grabby Mobs Mod changes this by making item pickup consistent for mobs that are able to wield objects. When a qualifying mob comes across a suitable item, it will pick it up rather than relying on random odds.

Which mobs are affected, and what they can grab, varies by type. Most listed mobs — including Drowned, Husk, Piglin, Piglin Brute, Skeleton, Stray, Vex, Wither Skeleton, Zombie, Zombie Villager, and Zombified Piglin — can pick up all equipment. A few are more restricted: Evoker and Vindicator pick up no armour, while Witch only uses its mainhand. This means the gear you drop near these mobs may end up in their hands, so plan accordingly.
