How to Craft a Trident

Gathering Materials

Tridents are now craftable in this mod, making them accessible without raiding ocean monuments or waiting for drowned mobs to drop them. You'll need to gather the base materials from standard Minecraft sources.

Crafting the Trident

Arrange your materials on the crafting table according to the recipe. The exact configuration uses prongs and a shaft component—check Just Enough Items (JEI) in-game to see the precise layout, as the visual recipe display is more reliable than text descriptions.

Once crafted, your trident will function identically to vanilla tridents: it can be thrown as a melee weapon, enchanted with Loyalty to return to you, and used underwater for propulsion when enchanted with Riptide.

Tips

If you're planning to use your trident for combat or underwater travel, consider gathering materials for multiple copies. This gives you backups and lets you apply different enchantments to suit different situations—one for returning attacks and another for underwater mobility.
