Adjust Lighting Intensity to Reduce Eye Strain
Access Shader Settings
Open the shader options menu while in-game by pressing the designated shader menu key (usually found in your controls settings). Look for Golden Spring in the active shader list and select its configuration panel.
Modify Brightness and Glow
Locate the Cinematic Lighting or Glow Intensity slider. If the warm glow feels too strong or causes discomfort during extended play sessions, reduce this value incrementally. Test each change by looking at different environments—caves, forests, and open sky—to ensure the adjustment feels natural across all lighting conditions.
You can also find separate controls for:
- Sunbeam intensity: Reduces the strength of light rays
- Shadow softness: Increases or decreases shadow blur
- Color saturation: Tones down vibrant colors if they feel oversaturated
Save and Apply
Once you've found comfortable settings, save your configuration. The changes apply immediately to your world. You can create multiple profiles if you want different settings for different play styles—one for building, another for exploration.
