Verify the Golden Glint is Working on Your Items

Check Your Enchanted Items

Once the resource pack is installed and active, the golden glow should appear automatically on any enchanted item in your inventory, hotbar, or item frames.

Steps:

1. Open your inventory and look at any enchanted tool, weapon, or armor piece

2. The item should display a bright golden shimmer instead of the default purple glow

3. Rotate the item in your cursor to see the glint effect from different angles

4. Check items in item frames on walls — the golden effect should be clearly visible

Troubleshoot if You Don't See Gold

If your enchanted items still show purple:

  • Confirm the resource pack is enabled in your resource pack list (pause menu → Options → Resource Packs)
  • Move the Golden Enchanted Glint pack to the top of your active packs list
  • Close and reopen your world
  • Check that you're looking at actually enchanted items (use an enchanting table or anvil to add enchantments if needed)

The golden effect works on all enchanted items — swords, pickaxes, helmets, books, and more. The glow is purely visual and doesn't affect damage, durability, or enchantment power.
