How to Land Critical Hits While Sprinting

Sprinting and Crits

Unlike newer Minecraft versions, this mod allows you to deal critical hits even while sprinting. Sprint by double-tapping forward or holding the sprint key, then attack an enemy while airborne.

Triggering a Critical Hit

Critical hits occur when you:

1. Are falling or airborne (not standing on solid ground)

2. Attack a target with your sword or other weapon

3. Have not taken damage in the last half-second

You'll see damage numbers with a critical hit particle effect when successful.

Damage Bonus

Critical hits deal increased damage compared to regular attacks. Combine this with sprinting to close gaps and burst down enemies quickly.

Strategy

• Sprint toward enemies and jump to gain height before striking
• Use knockback to launch opponents into the air, then follow up with airborne crits
• In PvP, chain sprints and jumps to maintain aerial positioning for consistent critical damage
