Paint Large Terrain Without Server Lag

Use Asynchronous Painting for Smooth Performance

Go Paint Advanced Plugin runs all painting calculations off the main server thread, meaning your terraforming won't freeze gameplay for other players. This is especially important when working with large brush sizes or the Sphere and Splatter brushes across wide areas.

Steps to Paint Lag-Free

1. Receive your paint wand with /gopaint wand

2. Left-click to open the brush menu

3. Select a brush type (Sphere or Splatter work well for terrain)

4. Increase the brush size using /gopaint size <size> or the menu slider

5. Right-click on target blocks to apply paint strokes

The plugin processes your brush strokes in the background, so you can continue painting or building while calculations finish. This means you can work on massive projects—reshaping mountains, filling valleys, or recoloring entire biomes—without causing server lag or interrupting other players' gameplay.

Preserve Block Properties

When repainting over existing blocks, the plugin automatically keeps their original properties like rotation and facing direction. This is crucial when painting over stairs, logs, or directional blocks where orientation matters for aesthetics and function.
