Applying Glowing Trims to Your Tools

How Glowing Trims Work

The Glowing Trim Weapon & Tools Resource Pack automatically applies glowing effects to your tools and weapons when you equip or hold them. The trims enhance the existing vanilla textures with a radiant, magical appearance without replacing the base design.

Viewing Your Glowing Tools

1. Equip any tool or weapon from your inventory—pickaxes, swords, axes, shovels, hoes, and bows all receive the glowing effect.

2. Hold the item in your hand to see the full glowing trim effect in first-person view.

3. Look at other players holding glowing tools to see how the effect appears from a third-person perspective.

4. Check your inventory to see the standard tool appearance; the glow activates when actively held.

Best Visibility

The glowing trims are most visible in darker environments—caves, night time, or dimly lit areas. The magical radiance stands out more against shadows, making your gear feel more immersive during dangerous mining or combat situations.

The effect works with all tool tiers and materials, so whether you're using wooden, stone, iron, diamond, or netherite tools, each will display its own glowing trim variation.
