Adjust Glow Brightness for Better Visibility

Open Mod Settings

Pause your game and navigate to the mod settings menu. Find the Glowing Emissive Ores Definitive Edition section.

Locate the Brightness Slider

You'll see a brightness adjustment slider. This controls how intensely all enabled ores glow across your world.

Test and Fine-Tune

Adjust the slider to match your cave lighting conditions:

• Lower brightness: Use this if ores are too bright and wash out your surroundings, or if you prefer a subtle glow
• Higher brightness: Increase this if ores are hard to spot in very dark caves or if you want them to stand out more

Verify in-Game

Apply your changes and head into a cave or mine. Look at how the ores appear in different lighting conditions—near torches, in complete darkness, and at various distances.

Readjust if Needed

If the brightness still doesn't feel right, return to the menu and make further adjustments. There's no penalty for changing this setting multiple times, so experiment until you find your ideal balance.
