What the Glodium Mod Does

A Library, Not a Content Mod

Glodium Mod is a library mod. It does not add items, blocks, mobs, or recipes, and installing it by itself will not change your game in any visible way. Instead, it provides shared code that other mods can build on.

Specifically, it offers a better render system, a better network system, and a better registry system. These are internal frameworks that handle how visuals are drawn, how data is sent between client and server, and how game content is registered. Mods that depend on Glodium use these systems instead of writing their own, which can make them more consistent and easier to maintain.

Because it is a library, you generally install it as a dependency alongside the mods that need it. If nothing you have installed requires Glodium, it will simply sit there doing nothing. If a mod does require it, removing Glodium will likely cause that mod to fail to load or crash. Keep it installed as long as something depends on it.
