Synchronize Settings Across Multiple Minecraft Instances
How Global Options Mod Works
Global Options Mod automatically links the options.txt file across all your Minecraft instances. Instead of each installation maintaining separate settings, they now share a single configuration file. This means any change you make in one instance instantly applies to all others.
Setting Up Synchronization
1. Install Global Options Mod in each Minecraft instance you want to synchronize
2. Launch any instance with the mod installed
3. Adjust your in-game settings as normal (video settings, controls, audio, etc.)
4. Exit the game
5. Launch a different Minecraft instance
6. Your settings will now match the first instance
What Gets Synchronized
All standard Minecraft options are shared, including:
- Video settings (brightness, FOV, render distance)
- Control bindings and mouse sensitivity
- Audio volume levels
- Accessibility options
- Chat settings
- Auto-jump and other gameplay toggles
Note: Mod-specific settings from other mods are not affected by Global Options Mod—only vanilla Minecraft options are synchronized.
