Maintain Consistent Video and Audio Settings Across Instances

Why Consistency Matters

If you've fine-tuned your graphics settings for performance or visual quality, you don't want to reconfigure them every time you switch instances. Global Options Mod keeps these settings unified.

Video Settings That Sync

Your synchronized options include:

  • Render distance and simulation distance
  • Graphics quality (fast/fancy)
  • Brightness and contrast
  • Field of view (FOV)
  • Particle effects and animation settings
  • Fullscreen/windowed mode
  • Resolution preferences

Audio Settings That Sync

Sound configuration also carries over:

  • Master volume level
  • Individual volume sliders (music, blocks, weather, etc.)
  • Subtitle settings

Workflow

1. Launch your primary instance and adjust video/audio to your liking

2. Install Global Options Mod in other instances

3. Launch those instances—settings are already applied

4. If you tweak settings later in any instance, all others update automatically

This is particularly useful for maintaining consistent performance across instances or ensuring the same audio experience whether you're playing vanilla or modded versions.
