Keep Custom Keybinds Consistent Across Modpacks

Challenge: Different Modpacks, Same Keybinds

When playing multiple modpacks, you might spend time rebinding keys in each one. Global Options Mod ensures your custom keybinds persist across all instances automatically.

How It Works

Your keybind configuration is stored in options.txt, which Global Options Mod synchronizes globally. This means:

1. Set up your preferred keybinds in one modpack instance

2. Install Global Options Mod in other modpack instances

3. Launch those instances—your keybinds are already configured

4. Any future keybind changes apply to all instances

Important Note

If a modpack adds new keys that aren't in vanilla Minecraft, those bindings are typically stored separately by that mod and won't be synchronized by Global Options Mod. However, all standard Minecraft keybinds (movement, attack, use, inventory, etc.) will remain consistent.

This saves significant setup time when juggling multiple modpacks with the same playstyle preferences.
