How to Use Ghostly Glass and Ghostly Glass Doors, Panes, and Trapdoors

Ghostly Glass is a translucent glass variant that looks faint or spectral — it is see-through but has a ghostly tint, making it useful for spooky builds, hidden rooms, and windows that should not look like ordinary glass.

Placing Ghostly Glass

Craft Ghostly Glass, Ghostly Glass Pane, Ghostly Glass Door, or Ghostly Glass TrapDoor and place them like their vanilla equivalents. The block is transparent enough to see through but visually distinct from clear glass, so it reads as a different material in a build.

Doors and trapdoors

Ghostly Glass Doors open and close like normal doors and can be powered by redstone. Ghostly Glass Trapdoors work the same way. Because they are transparent, they let light through while still functioning as a door, which is handy for hidden entrances and for builds where a solid door would break the look.

Build ideas

Use Ghostly Glass for haunted houses, ghost ships, and nether-themed builds where you want a window that looks eerie rather than clean. Pair Ghostly Glass Panes with Ethereal Glass to create walls that are both walk-through and spectral. For secret rooms, combine Ghostly Glass Doors with Ethereal Reverse Glass so the entrance is invisible from outside but usable from within.

Tip

Ghostly Glass is a full block, so it can be used in redstone contraptions where you need a transparent block that still conducts or blocks signals the way glass does.
