Configuring Sky and Weather Effects
Locate Sky Settings
Open Shader Options and find sky-related controls. GlacierShaders typically offers adjustments for sky color, cloud appearance, and atmospheric effects.
Customize Sky Appearance
- Sky Brightness: Control how bright the sky appears during day and night
- Sky Color: Adjust the hue and saturation of the sky—warmer tones for sunset vibes, cooler for a crisp fantasy atmosphere
- Cloud Density: Increase or decrease cloud coverage and thickness
- Cloud Color: Modify how clouds appear against the sky
Adjust Atmospheric Effects
If available, configure:
- Fog: Control atmospheric haze distance and intensity
- Ambient Glow: Adjust how much light the sky contributes to the overall scene
- Weather Intensity: Modify rain and storm visual effects
Test Across Conditions
Play through a full day-night cycle to see how your settings look in daylight, sunset, and night. Visit high elevations to observe sky effects from different angles. Check how weather looks during rain or thunderstorms. Make adjustments until the sky complements your world's fantasy aesthetic while maintaining good visibility for gameplay.
