Troubleshoot Missing or Broken Gigachad Villager Models
Check Resource Pack Position
Open Options → Resource Packs. The Gigachad Villager pack must be in your active list and positioned *above* any conflicting packs. If it's below a high-priority pack, drag it higher. Apply changes and reload your world.
Verify Mod Compatibility
This resource pack requires OptiFine or a compatible entity model loader. Confirm you have one installed and enabled. If using multiple mods that modify entity rendering (like custom mob packs), disable them temporarily to isolate conflicts. Re-enable them one at a time to find the culprit.
Clear Cache and Reload
Close Minecraft completely. Delete the shadercache folder in your .minecraft directory if present. Relaunch the game and reload your world. This forces Minecraft to rebuild model data.
Check Iron Golem Presence
If no golems are visible at all, spawn one using a spawn egg or create a golem with iron blocks and a pumpkin. If the standard iron golem appears instead of the gigachad version, the pack isn't loading—return to step one and verify active status.
