Enable Genshin Villager Models in Your World

Prerequisites

This resource pack requires OptiFine to function. The Custom Entity Models (CEM) feature must be active for villagers to display their Genshin Impact character appearances.

Installation Steps

1. Ensure OptiFine is installed and running on your Minecraft client.

2. Load the Genshin Villager Resource Pack through your resource pack menu.

3. Place the pack above any conflicting villager texture packs in your load order.

4. Launch a world or server where you want the models to appear.

5. Approach any villager—they should now display their Genshin-styled character model instead of the default Minecraft appearance.

Troubleshooting

If villagers still appear vanilla:

  • Verify OptiFine is installed and active (check the title screen for the OptiFine logo).
  • Confirm CEM is enabled in OptiFine settings (Video Settings > Custom Entity Models).
  • Reload your resource packs (F3 + T on most setups).
  • Check that no other resource pack is overriding villager models above this pack in the list.

Villager functionality—trading, breeding, and profession changes—remains completely unchanged. Only their visual appearance is affected.
